The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South to 25 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surrattsville for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Wednesday, February 14. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will meet a Hornets team coming off a 57-34 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 12-9.
The (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans enter the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Laurel was nudged by Flowers (Springdale, MD), 72-27, in a league contest.
