The Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) basketball knocked off the host Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), 72-58 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Warriors go into the GIAA AA Region 3 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Southwest Georgia Academy went down by Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA), 58-27, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Charlton County for a A D2 Region 2 test on Friday, February 9. Echols County will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 51-30 league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA). The Indians record now stands at 12-12.
