Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines (Graceville, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN), 75-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Wolverines travel to West Central Area (Barrett, MN) to clash with the Knights in a A Section 6 bout on Monday, February 12. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-9. West Central Area won 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) in a A Section 6 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Parkers Prairie will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Arrows come into the challenge with a 0-22 record after their 62-34 league loss to Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN).
