The Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ) basketball nipped the host Delsea Crusaders (Franklinville, NJ), 29-27 in Thursday's league test.

The Colts (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Washington Township (Sewell, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Washington Township got by Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ), 70-38, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Deptford for a Tri-County - Liberty test on Friday, February 9. Delsea will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 47-38 league loss to Triton (Runnemede, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-17.
