The Davenport North Wildcats basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting North Scott Lancers to 45 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport Central for a Mississippi contest on Friday, February 9. Davenport North will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 75-13 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-18.
The Lancers (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings enter the Mississippi contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, Clinton was routed by Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA), 61-19, in a league contest.
