Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE), 33-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Red Cloud upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Dragons play the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Deshler will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 34-25 non-league win over Bertrand (Bertrand, NE).
