The Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK), 44-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Mannford (Mannford, OK). The Pirates go into the Tulsa Seven test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Mannford notched a victory over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK), 72-29, in a league test.
The Bulldoggers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Pawhuska for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Dewey will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 50-19 non-league win over Woodland (Fairfax, OK). The Huskies record now stands at 15-6.
