North Bergen Bruins (North Bergen, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Bergen upgrades its record to 3-16 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Lions in a Hudson County - American bout on Saturday, February 10. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 6-15. Lincoln lost 50-30 in their recent league bout against Kearny (Kearny, NJ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record.
