The Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) basketball knocked off the host Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT), 42-30 in Thursday's league test.

The Hurricanes (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Otters go into the Marble Valley - B test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Otter Valley went down by West Rutland (West Rutland, VT), 73-35, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Mansfield for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Mount Anthony will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.
