In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), by a margin of 60-23.
The Pioneers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against North (North St. Paul, MN). The Polars go into the AAA Section 4 outing with a 4-16 record.
The Spartans now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Kasson-Mantorville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 10. Simley will clash with a Komets squad coming off a 71-59 league loss to Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Komets record now stands at 11-11.
