Oklahoma High School Basketball - Howe crushes Vian

February 8, 2024: Vian, OK 74962

Howe Lions (Howe, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Vian Wolverines (Vian, OK), 78-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Howe upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK) to play the Savages in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Savages go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Broken Bow won 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Valliant (Valliant, OK)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) in a Big Eight bout, on Friday, February 9. Vian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 40-29 league loss to Central (Sallisaw, OK).
