Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 65-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Knott County Central upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Lawrence County won 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 9. Jenkins will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 2-18 record after their 54-29 non-league loss to Lee County (Beattyville, KY).
