In Thursday's league outing, the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), by a margin of 52-21.

The Trojans now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Lejeune for a 1A/2A Coastal Plains outing on Friday, February 9. Jones will clash with a Devil Pups squad coming off a 61-27 league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Devil Pups record now stands at 2-15.
