North Harford Hawks (Pylesville, MD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD), 38-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Harford upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Kenwood (Baltimore, MD) to play the Bluebirds in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Bluebirds come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Kenwood won 66-19 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Reisterstown, MD)

Next up, the Mariners play the Perryville Panthers (Perryville, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna bout, on Monday, February 12. Joppatowne will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Bel Air (Bel Air, MD).
