The Lakeview Lakers basketball team (Cottonwood, MN), was overwhelmed 73-47 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN)
The Vikings now possess a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayer Lutheran for a non-league battle on Monday, February 12. Minneota will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-9.
The Lakers (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits come into the A Section 3 battle with a 6-17 record. In their last battle, Wabasso trounced Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN), 53-48, in a non-league battle.
