In Thursday's league match, the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored a decisive 82-31 triumph over the Ligonier Valley Rams.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Gibsonia, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 10. Shady Side Academy will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 54-47 league loss to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA).

With the defeat, Ligonier Valley moves to 5-16 on the year.
