The Marion Swamp Foxes topped the host Mullins Auctioneers basketball team by a final score of 57-45 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Swamp Foxes face the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 9. Marion will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 5-18 record after their 52-19 non-league loss to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC).

With the defeat, Mullins moves to 6-12 on the year.
