McDonell Central Macks (Chippewa Falls, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Regis Ramblers (Eau Claire, WI), 62-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDonell Central upgrades its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Macks travel to Thorp (Thorp, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Cloverbelt - West bout on Friday, February 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 3-19. Thorp lost 73-46 in their recent league bout against Bloomer (Bloomer, WI)

Next up, the Ramblers play the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder (Osseo, WI) in a Cloverbelt - West bout, on Friday, February 9. Regis will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 56-48 league win over Cadott (Cadott, WI).
