Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA), 55-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Mercyhurst Prep upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Lakers host North East (North East, PA) to clash with the Grape Pickers in a District 10 Region 3 bout on Monday, February 12. The Grape Pickers go into the bout with a record of 12-6. North East won 49-36 in their recent non-league bout against Seneca (Erie, PA)

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 bout, on Monday, February 12. Titusville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 63-30 league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA).
