The Villa Joseph Marie Jems basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic to 31 in the Jems league triumph on Thursday.

The Jems now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gwynedd Mercy Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Villa Joseph Marie will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 48-19 league win over Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA). The Monarchs record now stands at 18-4.

The Magic (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Villa Maria Academy ran past Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA), 88-19, in a league contest.
