Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) and the host Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA), saw North East's basketball squad overcome Seneca by a tally of 49-36.

With the victory, North East improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Grape Pickers travel to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to confront the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Monday, February 12. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Mercyhurst Prep won 55-16 in their recent league challenge against Titusville (Titusville, PA)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Seneca will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 52-25 league win over Girard (Girard, PA).
