The Oak Glen Golden Bears basketball team (New Cumberland, WV), was overwhelmed 57-35 in Thursday's league battle with the host Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV)

The Red Riders now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooke for a Two Rivers battle on Monday, February 12. Weir will confront a Bruins team coming off a 56-32 league loss to Edison (Richmond, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 1-18.

The Golden Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, North Marion trounced Preston (Kingwood, WV), 71-56, in a league battle.
