Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI), 31-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oxford upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 15-1. West Bloomfield won 67-22 in their recent league bout against Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) in a Oakland - Red bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).
