The Raleigh Lions basketball team (Raleigh, MS), was overwhelmed 42-21 in Thursday's league battle with the host Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS)
The Chiefs now possess a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pisgah for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Pelahatchie will battle a Dragons team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 14-12.
