Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), 84-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Shenandoah upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Underwood (Underwood, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Underwood lost 42-40 in their recent league bout against Treynor (Treynor, IA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Saturday, February 10. Red Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 43-35 league win over Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA).
