The Shawano Community Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Seymour Thunder to 54 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rhinelander for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Shawano Community will meet a Hodags team coming off a 60-34 league loss to Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Hodags record now stands at 17-6.

The Thunder (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI). The Purple Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-21 record. In their last contest, Two Rivers was outscored by Chilton (Chilton, WI), 64-22, in a league contest.
