Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilmington upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Greyhounds host Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to play the Rockets in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Monday, February 12. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Slippery Rock lost 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 bout, on Monday, February 12. Sharon will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 51-37 league win over Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
