Vermont High School Basketball - Woodstock overwhelmed by White River Valley

The White River Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Woodstock Wasps to 24 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Mountain for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. White River Valley will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-12.
The Wasps (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts come into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Randolph was routed by Oxbow (Bradford, VT), 33-26, in a league contest.
