The J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) basketball felled the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), 40-27 in Thursday's league test.
The Patriots (21-1) will now prepare for their test against Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Mauldin was beaten by J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC), 28-25, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 2-6 record.
