In Thursday's non-league outing, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), by a margin of 46-22.
The Mustangs (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Seton (Manassas, VA). The Conquistadors go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Seton smashed Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA), 34-18, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Skyline for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. Warren County will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 27-23 non-league loss to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-10.
