New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA), 43-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Kent upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Trojans host Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Islanders clash with the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Poquoson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 39-21 non-league loss to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
