Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 72-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lassen upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-21. West Valley lost 76-40 in their recent league bout against University Prep (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 9. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 57-55 league win over Anderson (Anderson, CA).
