Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork can't hold off Nansemond River

The Nansemond River Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and held the host King's Fork Bulldogs to 49 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grassfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores come into the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Maury was edged by Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 56-46, in a non-league bout.
