The Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) basketball nipped the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 40-38 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record.

The Black Knights now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Oak Grove for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14. North Davidson will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 54-42 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-6.
