North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA), 49-36 in a league bout.

With the win, North Salinas upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to play the Aztecs in a bout on Monday, February 12. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Soledad lost 55-48 in their recent league bout against Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Gonzales Spartans (Gonzales, CA) in a bout, on Monday, February 12. Rancho San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 49-37 league win over Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA).
