The Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 40-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Stallions (2-13) will now prepare for their test against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Kinston for a non-league test on Friday, February 9.
