The Hoquiam Grizzlies basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Aberdeen Bobcats to 44 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Hoquiam will confront a Bruins team coming off a 60-57 league win over Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA). The Bruins record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Aberdeen falls to 7-13 on the campaign.
