The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waynoka Railroaders (Waynoka, OK) and the host Burlington Elks (Burlington, OK), observed Waynoka's basketball team edge Burlington by a margin of 51-44.

The Railroaders (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Timberlake (Helena, OK). The Tigers come into the Orient challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Timberlake was tipped by Lomega (Omega, OK), 63-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Elks battle the Cherokee Chiefs (Cherokee, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Burlington will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 49-19 non-league win over Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK).
