The Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) basketball edged the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 58-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 13-17 record. They play next when they travel to Paul W. Bryant for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Chelsea will play a Stampede team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Stampede record now stands at 23-7.
With the loss, Calera falls to 17-13 on the campaign.
