The Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Cordia Lions to 47 in the Owls / Lady Owls non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Owls / Lady Owls now have a 9-20 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby Valley for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Owsley County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, Cordia falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 8-20.
