The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), observed South Albany's basketball team edge Crescent Valley by a margin of 52-49.

The Redhawks (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Albany (Albany, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Mid-Willamette challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, West Albany edged Silverton (Silverton, OR), 76-71, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Crescent Valley will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 67-53 league loss to Central (Independence, OR).
