The DePaul Catholic Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets to 36 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Paramus Catholic for a Big North - United game on Tuesday, February 11. DePaul Catholic will confront a Paladins team coming off a 69-56 league loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Paladins record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Passaic Valley falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host River Dell (Oradell, NJ) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Golden Hawks go into the game with a record of 7-12. River Dell won 60-59 in their recent non-league game against Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ)
