The East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) basketball edged the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 45-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bees now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a Big Ten bout on Monday, February 10. East Fairmont will play a Huskies team coming off a 62-41 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to play the Indians in a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Bridgeport won 59-53 in their recent non-league bout against University (Morgantown, WV)
