Nebraska High School Basketball - Fairbury bested by Sutton

Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), 48-31 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sutton advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 11-10. Wilber-Clatonia lost 54-28 in their recent non-league match against Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE)

The Jeffs now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmyra for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Fairbury will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 51-31 non-league loss to Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 4-15.
