The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) basketball edged the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), 64-57 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Valley Regional for a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, February 11.
With the loss, North Branford falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Cromwell (Cromwell, CT) to play the Panthers in a Shoreline bout on Monday, February 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-4.
