The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) and the visiting Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), observed Jefferson Forest's basketball team knock off Liberty by a score of 62-54.

The Cavaliers (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees come into the Seminole challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Brookville prevailed over Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 54-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Minutemen encounter the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record.
