The Mavericks now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgeman County for a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Tuesday, February 11. Kiowa County will play a Longhorns team coming off a 50-48 league win over Bucklin (Bucklin, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Spearville falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Ingalls (Ingalls, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Ingalls lost 58-41 in their recent league bout against Bucklin (Bucklin, KS)
