Vermont High School Basketball - Vergennes holds off Milton

The Vergennes Commodores basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Milton Yellowjackets to 53 in the Commodores league triumph on Saturday.
The Commodores now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Middlebury for a Southern Vermont - A game on Tuesday, February 11. Vergennes will confront a Tigers team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Milton falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT) to confront the Eagles in a Lake game on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-9. Mt. Abraham lost 53-41 in their recent league game against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT)
