In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers basketball team scored a close 58-56 triumph over the New Washington Mustangs.
The Hilltoppers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, New Washington nipped Medora (Medora, IN), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. New Washington will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 97-55 non-league loss to Lanesville (Lanesville, IN).
