The Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) basketball were winner over the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 54-42 in Saturday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Estelline/Hendricks for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Waubay/Summit will play a team coming off a 86-62 league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Northwestern Area falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Webster (Webster, SD) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Webster lost 59-42 in their recent non-league bout against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD)
